Web Application Development :

- Build and enhance web applications based on approved specifications, designs and functional requirements.

- Develop new features and improvements across clients web-based software products.

- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and refinement of existing applications, including websites, analytics tools and video-based web applications.

- Translate detailed requirements into clean, reliable and scalable code.

Front-End & Back-End Implementation :

- Develop user-facing functionality using React and TypeScript.

- Support server-side and application logic development using Node.

- Integrate front-end and back-end components to deliver complete, functional web features.

- Ensure implementations are aligned with technical expectations, design intent and acceptance criteria.

Quality, Performance & Maintainability :

- Write structured, maintainable and well-organised code in line with internal development standards.

- Support debugging, issue resolution and technical refinement across active applications.

- Ensure applications are performant, responsive and reliable across supported environments.

- Review work against specifications to ensure completeness, quality and consistency before release.

Cloud & Deployment Support :

- Work within AWS-based and Azure-based environments to support the deployment and operation of web applications.

- Contribute to implementation tasks that align with existing hosting, infrastructure and release processes.

- Maintain awareness of performance, security and reliability considerations in cloud-based application delivery.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Collaborate with other developers and relevant team members to ensure smooth delivery across projects.

- Participate in structured review and QA processes to support release readiness.

- Communicate clearly on progress, blockers and technical issues affecting delivery.

Continuous Improvement :

- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development practices, code structure and technical consistency.

- Maintain clear documentation and organised handover practices where required.

- Support a disciplined and delivery-focused engineering culture across client's web products.

Requirements :

- 5+ years experience in web development within a commercial software environment.

- Strong experience with React, TypeScript and Node.

- Experience building and maintaining modern web applications across front-end and back-end components.

- Familiarity with AWS/Azure environments and cloud-based deployment considerations.

- Strong understanding of web application architecture, performance and maintainability.

- Ability to work effectively from detailed specifications, feature definitions and design requirements.

- Experience debugging issues, refining implementations and supporting release quality.

- Strong coding standards and attention to detail.

- Clear and confident communication skills in English.

- High ownership mindset with the ability to deliver reliable work within defined scope and direction.

- Experience working within distributed or remote software teams

Desirable :

- Experience working on analytics platforms, dashboards or data-driven web applications.

- Experience working on media-rich or video-based web applications.

- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and modern version control practices.

- Exposure to SaaS or EdTech product environments.
