Senior Full Stack Backend Developer - Java/OpenShift

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain distributed applications on OpenShift and AWS cloud platforms. This position demands deep expertise in backend technologies-specifically Java 17, Spring Boot, and Microservices-along with hands-on experience or exposure to Go or Node.js for developing cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Application Development : Build and manage distributed applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and Microservice architecture on OpenShift. Lead migration of applications to AWS, utilizing Go or Node.js as needed.

- API & Integration : Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Collaboration : Partner with SMEs, developers, QA, and business stakeholders; conduct code reviews and mentor team members to foster technical growth.

- Monitoring & Quality Assurance : Leverage tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, SonarQube, and Checkmarx to ensure application health and code quality.

- Deployment : Oversee integration and deployment in hybrid environments (on-premises/AWS) and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.

- Maintenance : Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Best Practices : Advocate for agile methodologies, CI/CD, and technical excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements :

- Experience : 5-7 years in backend development with strong expertise in Java17, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Openshift.

- Additional Skills : Familiarity with Go or Node.js, and experience with AWS services and platform.

- Tools : Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, SonarQube, Checkmarx, and CI/CD tools.

- Methodologies : Strong understanding of Agile practices and modern delivery frameworks.

- Soft Skills : Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 5-7 years of experience in backend development

- Strong expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, and Microservices

- Hands-on experience with OpenShift and AWS platforms

- Familiarity with Go or Node.js

- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Postgres

- Experience with Kafka

- Certifications in AWS, OpenShift, or Java technologies

- Strong understanding of Agile practices and modern delivery frameworks

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
