Job Description :

We are hiring an experienced Sr. Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in AngularJS and Angular 8+ to lead framework upgrades and migration projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in upgrading Angular versions and migrating legacy AngularJS applications to modern Angular frameworks with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities :

- Execute Angular framework version upgrades (Angular 8+ to latest versions)

- Perform migration from AngularJS to Angular (2+ / latest)

- Analyze existing AngularJS codebases and design scalable upgrade strategies

- Refactor legacy components, services, and modules to align with modern Angular standards

- Ensure application performance, security, and maintainability post-migration

- Collaborate with backend developers, QA, and product teams during upgrade cycles

- Identify and resolve upgrade-related issues, dependencies, and breaking changes

- Prepare technical documentation for migration and upgrade processes

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Angular version upgrades across multiple releases

- Proven experience in migrating AngularJS applications to Angular (2+ / latest)

- Solid understanding of Angular architecture, modules, components, and services

- Experience handling legacy code and technical debt during upgrades

- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs

- Ability to work independently and drive frontend modernization initiatives

Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Candidates :

- Candidates from Ahmedabad or Hyderabad are preferred. Remote candidates with strong relevant experience may also be considered.
