Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic development team at a Fuel Cycle. In this role, you will design and implement engaging user interfaces that enhance the experience of our platform users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop responsive, accessible, and performant web applications tailored to meet the needs of researchers and enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance user interfaces using Angular 17+, React, and TypeScript.

- Follow and enforce overall architectural principles, frameworks, and coding standards.

- Help design solutions that are enterprise scalable and maintainable, contributing to the architectural roadmap.

- Act as a technical mentor to junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance on best practices and code quality.

- Select, integrate, and customize open-source frameworks while ensuring code stability and security.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and performance bottlenecks in existing applications.

- Provide input into long-range product requirements, best practices, and operational guidelines, with focus on continuous improvement of platform reliability and serviceability.

- Ensure that we are continuously raising our standard of engineering excellence, including thorough code reviews and testing standards.

- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including business analysts, UI/UX designers, software developers, and QA analysts.

What youll bring : (Required)

- 5-7 years of hands-on Frontend development experience.

- BS in computer science or related engineering field.

- Mastery of HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript / TypeScript (ES6+ proficiency).

- Expertise in Angular 17+ (or the latest stable version) and its ecosystem (RxJS, component architecture, Standalone Components, Signals, and built-in control flow).

- Strong experience with NPM for tooling and build systems.

- Solid knowledge of State Management patterns (e.g., NgRx).

- Advanced proficiency in Unit and Integration Testing using tools like Jest, Jasmine/Karma, and Cypress/Playwright.

- Extensive experience with REST API integration and tools such as Postman.

- Proven ability to implement Web Performance Optimization (WPO) techniques and troubleshoot Core Web Vitals issues.

- Experience in responsive design, a mobile-first approach, and ensuring Web Accessibility (A11Y) (WCAG) standards.

- Advanced knowledge in API security best practices, Authentication/Authorization (e.g., OAuth, JWT).

- Strong organizational skills, writing clean, stable, reusable code, and great attention to detail.

Preferred, but Not Required :

- Experience with React.js is a significant plus.

- Familiarity with Micro-Frontend architecture concepts (e.g., Module Federation).

- Experience with Stencil or similar tools for building reusable UI Component Libraries.

- Familiarity with Security Scans, Penetration Tests, etc.

- Familiarity with Atlassian Services : Jira, Confluence, BitBucket.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

- Familiarity with AI tools and IDEs (Visual Studio Code with AI integration, Windsurf, etc.)
