Senior ETL Test Engineer - Performance Testing

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced ETL/Data Quality Engineer with strong expertise in Big Data and cloud-based data validation.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ETL testing, SQL-based data validation, Python/PySpark automation, and GCP-based data platforms.

The role requires deep understanding of data quality engineering, large-scale data validation, and testing of cloud-based ETL pipelines.

Mandatory Skills :

- 5 to 10 years of experience in ETL Testing/Data Warehouse Testing/Data Quality Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience in SQL and large-scale data validation.

Experience with GCP services :

- BigQuery.

- DataProc.

- Cloud Composer (Airflow).

- Strong Python and PySpark programming skills.

- Experience validating ETL pipelines and large datasets.

- Strong understanding of STLC and defect lifecycle.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Hands-on experience in test planning, test strategy, and execution.

- Experience with regression and end-to-end testing.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Great Expectations or Deequ.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of data governance and data lineage.

- Experience working with distributed Big Data systems.

- Automation framework development.

- Performance testing exposure.

- Experience with modern data quality tools.
