Job Summary :

- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Test Engineer with strong expertise in ETL, Data Warehouse, and SQL-based testing.

- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional, data, and automation testing, along with a solid understanding of data quality principles and modern BI tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform Functional, ETL, and Data Warehouse Testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

- Design, develop, and execute complex SQL queries to validate ETL logic, data transformations, and end-to-end data flow from source to target systems.

- Conduct Functional Testing of Web and Mobile applications as required.

- Manage and maintain test data using relevant test and data management tools.

- Work with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and CRM applications for data validation and integration testing.

- Validate reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

- Ensure data quality through profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.

- Utilize AI-powered data validation tools (e.g., Great Expectations) for automated ETL and data quality testing.

- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and use tools such as JIRA for defect tracking and project management.

- Perform testing in Data Sphere and Salesforce environments.

- Implement and maintain ETL test automation frameworks for data validation and regression testing.

- Lead testing efforts, manage priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Explore and implement AI-driven innovations in ETL and Data Testing processes.

Technical Expertise :

Database & ETL Testing :

- Strong understanding of the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process and validation checkpoints.

- Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage, Databricks, or similar ETL tools.

- Experience executing and monitoring ETL jobs within enterprise data environments.

Data Validation & Quality :

- Proficient in handling large datasets, identifying missing or duplicate data, and resolving structural or attribute inconsistencies.

- Skilled in testing data from multiple sources and ensuring end-to-end data accuracy and consistency.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to follow directions and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Willingness to work in alignment with client time zones.
