Senior Enterprise Data Modeler - Azure Data Services

Job Summary :

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in T-SQL, Azure data services, and data modeling tools like Erwin or PowerDesigner.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouses and BI systems.

- Create and manage data models to support reporting, analytics, and data integration.

- Work with large datasets and write complex SQL queries.

- Build data models for EDW staging, integration, and reporting layers.

- Reverse-engineer data from source systems for integration into the data warehouse.

- Lead the creation of enterprise-level integrated data views.

- Define and enforce data modeling standards and best practices.

- Manage data model versions and maintain proper documentation.

- Work with business and IT teams to understand data requirements.

- Translate business needs into technical specifications.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years in data modeling and SQL development.

- Strong knowledge of T-SQL and writing complex queries.

- Hands-on experience with Azure services : ADLS, Blob Storage, Azure SQL.

- Good understanding of Databricks or PySpark.

- Experience in analyzing data from various sources and converting it into business insights.

- Familiarity with consumer product domain terminology (preferred).

- Proficient in using data modeling tools like Erwin or PowerDesigner.
