Senior Engineering Manager - Cloud Platforms

The core responsibilities for the job include the following :

Leadership and Management :

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend, ML, and platform engineers.

- Set technical direction, define roadmaps, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.

- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and DevOps teams to align engineering outcomes with business goals.

- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Technical Oversight :

- Drive architecture and implementation of scalable, cloud-native services using Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices.

- Oversee deployment and orchestration strategies to ensure system reliability, observability, and performance.

- Guide the design and integration of Generative AI systems (e. g., LLMs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, AI-driven automation).

- Ensure strong DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.

- Stay current with emerging technologies in AI, MLOps, and distributed systems.

Requirements :

- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years managing or leading teams.

- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems or platform services.

- Solid understanding of AI/ML systems, preferably with exposure to Generative AI frameworks (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc. ).

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and people leadership skills.
