Role : Senior Engineering Manager

About the Role :

This is a full-time, on-site Sr Engineering Manager role based in Karnataka, India. The Sr Engineering Manager will lead multiple engineering teams, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance management to deliver reliable, scalable AI-driven healthcare products.

This role includes working closely with product management, data science, and customer-facing teams to translate requirements into roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of features and integrations. The Sr Engineering Manager will oversee end-to-end software development, including architecture reviews, coding standards, code reviews, testing practices, and deployment processes. Day-to-day responsibilities also include managing project execution, identifying and mitigating risks, improving engineering processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do :

- Lead, mentor, and grow 2 to 3 engineering teams (15 to 20 engineers total).

- Own hiring, performance management, career development, and succession planning.

- Cultivate a high-trust, high-accountability team culture.

- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to build diverse, inclusive teams.

- Drive roadmap planning, sprint management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.

- Experience with system Integration, including working with third-party APIs, healthcare platforms, and internal services.

- Provide technical oversight and architectural guidance.

- Champion AI and Agentic AI adoption.

- Ensure robust data pipelines, analytics platforms, and governance practices.

- Drive best practices around security, HIPAA/HL7/FHIR compliance, and resilient system design.
