Senior Engineer - SAP HANA

Job Summary :

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer SAP HANA to design, build, and enhance end-to-end data solutions on SAP Native HANA and BW on HANA platforms.

The role involves developing high-performance data models, integrating S/4HANA systems, and enabling data-driven decision-making for business stakeholders.

As a senior engineer, you will also mentor junior team members and drive best practices in HANA development.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design and develop SAP HANA Calculation Views using Graphical and SQL Script approaches

- Develop Table Functions, Stored Procedures, and SQL Script logic

- Create and maintain CDS Views / CDS Tables

- Develop Virtual Tables using SAP SDI based on S/4HANA CDS views

- Work on implementation and enhancement projects in SAP Native HANA and BW on HANA

- Integrate new S/4HANA systems into existing HANA/BW landscapes

- Build and automate GSS flows supporting NCC/OTA business logic

- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and data quality

- Prepare design and technical documentation

- Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA Data Processing and Development

- Expertise in SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) for data integration

- Experience with SAP Native HANA and BW on HANA

Proficiency in :

- HANA Calculation Views (Graphical & SQL Script)

- SQL Script, Table Functions, Stored Procedures

- CDS Views / CDS Tables

- SAP SDI and Virtual Tables

- Good understanding of S/4HANA data models and CDS architecture

- Strong SQL and performance tuning skills
