Responsibilities :

- Device Configuration w. supply order specifications

- Network Topology in Sysmech Studio for remote devices line Siemens Interface Modules, Variable Frequency Drives, HMI, Third Party Devices over Modbus Protocols like Serial, TCP/IP etc.

- Table/Assembly Shop Testing as Proof of Concept

- Review of Off-Line PLC & HMI Programming with Junior / assigned Engineer

- Identification, Troubleshooting, Debugging of PLC/HMI/SCADA Codes on field

- Strong Co-Ordination to communicate successive progression of Field Work with Project Managers

- Provide technical support to customers

- Supportive role to Project Management team to Hand Over Site for production to customer

- Parameterization of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Servo Amplifiers etc.

- Frequent travelling on field is part of Job Profile (80% travelling, 20% In Factory)

Key Skills :

- Proficiency PLC/HMI/SCADA/VFD/Servo

- OMRON, Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi etc.

Programming Languages

- Ladder Diagram, Function Blocks, Structured Text Language, Sequential Flow Charting

Software Programming Languages (Not Mandatory) :

- C+, C#, C Sharp Awareness would be added advantage

Communication Protocols :

- PROFINet, PROFIBus, Ethernet, Modbus TCP/IP, Serial (RS232, RS485, RS422)

Device Configuration, Programming & Troubleshooting, Erection & Commissioning its KPIs :

- Successful assignment of hardware devices along with settings of required parameters w. Supply order specifications

- Error Free Testing of Pre-Defined Network Topologies

- Successful Pre-Commissioning on field

- Reduce the Commissioning time on field

- Timely Communication of Successive Progression of Field Work

- Tags sharing with SCADA Programmer w. supply order specifications

- Review of Off-Line PLC/HMI/SCADA Programming with Junior Colleagues

- Time Reduction in Field Work by adopting efficient programming practices

- Identify & implementation innovative solutions to improve the performance of existing Controls System

- Ensure Parametrization of VFD/Servo before dispatch of control panels on field

- Ensure Check list submissions pertaining to Programming, parameterization to PDI Manager/Engineer

Project Management & Execution :

- Successfully execute 4-5 projects on-time and within budget, meeting customer requirements and quality standards

- Ensure the pre-commissioning & final commissioning of at least 3 projects without any defects or issues.

- Improve customer satisfaction rating by 15% through effective communication and customer support

Technical Support and Troubleshooting :

- Provide technical support to clients for at least 10 projects and resolve any issues within the agreed timelines.

- Respond to technical queries and service requests within 24 hours and provide timely and effective solutions.

- Ensure the downtime of PLC & SCADA systems is minimized, and all issues are resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreement (Within Warranty)

KRA 4: - Continuous Improvement and Innovation & its KPIs :

- Identify at least 3 areas of improvement in PLC & SCADA programming and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in PLC, SCADA, IIoT programming and provide recommendations for improvement.

- Conduct training sessions for junior engineers on PLC/SCADA programming best practices and improve their skills.
