Title : Senior Engineer - Full stack Requirements

Role and Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain web applications end-to-end (frontend, backend, APIs, databases)

- Make decisions on tech stack, frameworks, effort estimates, and design patterns.

- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and deliverables.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps, data, security) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Mentor junior developers and lead code review, technical sessions on designs, lead design discussions

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.

- Lead proof-of-concepts on emerging technologies and use cases, and ensure architecture artifacts and documentation are well-maintained.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating tools, frameworks, and processes for efficiency and innovation.

- Serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for all web applications managed within the Shared Services group, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.

- Evaluate existing .NET-based web apps and prepare plan and design to convert into Java-stack web apps.

Mandatory Experience and Skills :

- Expertise in modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, ES6+, TypeScript) and strong front-end framework knowledge, preferably React.js or Angular

- Expertise in Java stacks (Spring Framework/Spring Boot etc) tech for backend services.

- Experience with developing enterprise-grade APIs (REST/OData/GraphQL) using Spring Boot, use of API Gateway, API policies, and Caching technologies (Redis)

- Experience in containerizing applications as Docker, as well as deploying applications on premises and on cloud (Azure) landscape.

- Experience in setting up CI/CD workflow (using GitHub actions/Azure DevOps), automated testing and monitoring for services.

- Strong grasp of testing best practices (unit, integration, E2E).

- Experience in using Azure services as a runtime for web api and backend services. Azure

services include Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub, Azure Vault, Azure Container Services, Azure Storage, Azure Open AI services, and Azure DB services.

- Experience in API designs, API security (OAuth/mTLS), API patterns, messaging services such as Azure Service Bus, EventHub, Kafka etc.

- Experience with using SQL / NoSQL-based databases.

- Solid communication skills, should be able to lead design discussions, and clearly communicate with IT functional and business partners.

- Should be able to design and code independently.

Good to Have :

- Experience with C#/.NET technology will be advantageous.

- Prior experience in migrating COTS middleware such as TIBCO/Mulesoft services to Spring

Boot-based workflow services

- Prior experience for developing APIs over Snowflake data, using Snowpark SDK

- Knowledge around creating MCP servers for exposing tools for LLM usage.

- Knowledge around Spring AI or using Spring Boot in AI ecosystem.
