Senior Engineer - DevOps/MLOps

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps & MLOps Engineer with 6+ years of expertise in Azure and AWS cloud platforms, advanced Kubernetes and Docker orchestration, PostgreSQL/CNPG database management, Istio service mesh, and modern DevOps/MLOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD, network security, and cloud-native ML pipeline deployment.

You will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure for applications and ML models, enabling rapid innovation with high reliability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud & Infrastructure Leadership :

- Implement and maintain CloudNativePG (CNPG) for PostgreSQL with replication, PITR backups, and disaster recovery strategies.

- Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized deployments in AKS/EKS.

Kubernetes, Docker & Service Mesh :

- Configure and maintain Kubernetes resources (Deployments, Services, Ingress) using YAML manifests or GitOps workflows.

- Manage Istio service mesh for traffic routing, authentication, mTLS, JWT validation, and observability.

MLOps & CI/CD Automation :

- Build CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for both application and ML workloads.

- Implement Blue-Green, Canary, and Rolling deployment strategies using Kubernetes and Istio.

- Integrate API-led event-driven architectures (Azure Event Grid, Azure Functions) into CI/CD pipelines.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation :

- Leverage Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.

- Enforce modular, reusable, and version-controlled IaC patterns.

Scripting & Tooling :

- Create custom tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Networking & Security :

- Configure DNS, routing, endpoint management, and ingress/egress controls.

- Manage cloud IAM roles, Kubernetes RBAC, and secret management.

- Conduct security reviews, compliance checks, and vulnerability scans.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Cloud Platforms : Azure (expert in VMs, App Services, AKS, Functions, ACR),

- Containers & Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes (AKS, EKS), Helm.

- Service Mesh : Istio (traffic shifting, mTLS, JWT).

- Databases : PostgreSQL, CloudNativePG (CNPG).

- MLOps : Azure ML, MLflow, automated model pipelines.

- IaC : Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, Ansible.

- Scripting : Python, PowerShell, Bash.

- CI/CD : Azure DevOps pipelines, GitOps workflows.

- Networking : DNS, Routing, VPN, Firewalls, Endpoint management.

- Deployment Strategies : Blue-Green, Canary, Rolling.
