Senior Engineer - Automation Testing

Description :

API & Backend Testing :

- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems.

Skilled in UI Testing :

- Validate API functionality including request/response, headers, payloads, status codes, and error handling.

- Perform CRUD operations testing, data validation, and business logic verification.

- Conduct integration testing across multiple services and ensure data consistency.

- Validate authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, API keys).

Test Automation (Playwright + C#) :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with C#.

- Build reusable automation frameworks for API and backend testing.

- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Implement data-driven and behavior-driven testing approaches.

- Ensure test coverage for regression, smoke, and sanity test suites.

Performance & Security Testing :

- Perform basic performance testing for APIs (load, stress, response time validation).

- Validate API reliability under different load conditions.

- Identify potential security vulnerabilities such as injection attacks, unauthorized access.

Database Validation :

- Perform backend validation using SQL queries (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Verify data integrity between APIs and database layers.

- Validate stored procedures, triggers, and complex queries.

Defect Management & Reporting :

- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps.

- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.

- Generate detailed test reports, logs, and dashboards.

Collaboration & Agile Practices :

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks
