Senior Engineer - Active Directory

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - Active Directory to join our dynamic technology team. This role is critical to ensuring the security, optimization, and seamless operation of our large-scale directory environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and hybrid identity solutions, along with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. This position requires working in a collaborative environment and influencing key business decisions through technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and troubleshoot DNS systems, including BIND and Microsoft DNS, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Implement and manage hybrid identity solutions, including Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) and Azure AD application registrations.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell for configuration management and operational efficiency.

- Secure directory environments by applying best practices and advanced security measures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate identity solutions with applications using OAuth, OpenID Connect, and API integrations.

- Provide expertise in related technologies such as DHCP, PKI, and NTP.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including users and management, to deliver solutions that align with business objectives.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and quickly adapt to new tools and systems.

Requirements :

- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, including replication, authentication protocols, and trust relationships.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) and hybrid identity solutions.

- Expertise in DNS administration and troubleshooting, including BIND and Microsoft DNS.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and configuration management.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
