Job Brief :

My client, a modern leader in high-speed wireless data transmission and internet access solutions, continues to disrupt the Li-Fi industry by leveraging the visible light spectrum for high-speed data communication.

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Embedded Software Engineer with 7-8 years of experience to lead the design and development of high-speed wireless communication systemsfrom concept through verification and integration. In this role, you will be a key member of our core engineering team, driving innovation in next-generation Li-Fi based wireless communication systems.

The ideal candidate is passionate about building groundbreaking technology, has a strong research orientation, and possesses deep expertise in wireless communication, networking protocols, and modulation/demodulation techniques.

Responsibilities :

Under minimal supervision, you will manage and drive complex projects. Key responsibilities include :

- Embedded software development in C/C++ on 32-bit ARM-based Linux platforms

- Architect and implement solutions for technical challenges involving communication system architecture and real-time constraints

- Develop test environments and lead verification efforts

- Lead technical project teams, with accountability for performance, cost, and schedules

- Stay current with advancements in embedded systems and wireless communication technologies

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline required, Masters or PhD preferred

- 7-8 years of experience in software and firmware development

- 7-8 years of experience in C/C++ and embedded software development

- Expertise with microprocessors and microcontrollers (8-bit, 32-bit ARM) in real-time embedded solutions

- Extensive experience with multi-threading systems

- Proven experience building scalable embedded Linux applications and iterative performance tuning

- Strong background in architecting and designing embedded systems, with excellent communication skills to convey solutions to engineering teams

- Solid understanding of data communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, ARP, HTTP, HTTPS) is a plus

- Experience with IPv4/IPv6 is a plus

- Proficiency with test and analysis equipment used in embedded device development

- Strong foundational knowledge of wireless communication systems

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
