Role : Senior EDA CAD Engineer ASIC / VLSI Tools (On-site, Bangalore)

About the Role :

Aeva is seeking an experienced EDA CAD Engineer with a strong background in ASIC/VLSI design automation not mechanical CAD to deploy and support front-end EDA tools, develop automation scripts, and optimize flows for large-scale silicon projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Deploy and support front-end ASIC EDA tools : RTL simulators, low power analysis, Lint, CDC/RDC/SDC/DFT, formal verification.

- Develop scripts (Python, Bash, C, Makefiles) to automate regression/debug flows and CI/CD pipelines.

- Manage compute infrastructure with load distribution tools.

- Configure dashboards and integrate tools with repos and infrastructure.

- Work with global teams and EDA vendors to ensure seamless tool deployment.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 10+ years in CAD/EDA for ASIC/VLSI projects.

- 4+ years on large-scale (100M+ gates) ASIC projects.

- Strong scripting and Linux administration skills.

- Expertise in ASIC flow and front-end design automation.

Nice-to-Have :

- Kubernetes or LSF systems experience.

- System Verilog/Verilog familiarity.

- Web dashboard development skills (Javascript/CSS).
