Job Summary & Responsibilities :

Location : Hyderabad and Bangalore

Experience Required : 12+ years (with strong AX 2012 R2 expertise)

Employment Type : Full-time

- Need a Sr Dynamics AX 2012 R2 Technical Consultant to maintain, support and enhance existing solution.

- Must have hands-on experience using AIF, exposing services using custom .NET services or APIs.

- Must have experience in understanding performance bottlenecks and resolving them.

- Must have experience in AOS layer.

- Other skills : Security practices, X++ dev, WCF/ API design, AX Profiler, etc.

- Must be comfortable working in legacy tech stack.

- Note : Dynamics AX 2012 R2 is a MUST. Latest skills like D365 F&O are good to have.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and customize Dynamics AX 2012 R2 solutions based on business requirements.

- Work on X++ programming, MorphX, SSRS, and AIF integrations.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including technical design documents and deployment guides.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Support AX upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting of technical issues.

- Optimize system performance and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technical consultants.

- Integrate AX 2012 with other systems using standard and custom approaches.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 12+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX, with a strong focus on AX 2012 R2.

- Strong knowledge of X++, MorphX, AIF, SSRS, and SQL Server.

- Hands-on experience in AX customizations, reports, workflows, and integrations.

- Understanding of AX data structure, performance tuning, and debugging.

- Experience in AX upgrade/migration projects is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Dynamics AX certifications (Technical/Development).

- Experience in AX to Dynamics 365 F&O upgrade/migration projects.

- Exposure to Azure services, Power BI, or other Microsoft technologies.
