Job Description:

Dynamics 365 / Dataverse Developer with .NET knowledge.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse

- 3+ years of experience in .NET / C# development

- Strong experience with: Plugins, workflows, and Dataverse Web API, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and REST API development

- Experience with Git-based source control

- Understanding of ALM and CI/CD practices

Good to Have:

- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI

- Exposure to Azure DevOps pipelines

- Knowledge of Generative AI tools and developer productivity enhancements

- Experience with microservices architecture

- Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Azure / Power Platform

Key Responsibilities:

1. Internal Dynamics 365 / Dataverse Extensions:

- Develop and maintain Plug-ins, Custom Actions, Custom Workflow Activities

- Implement integrations using Dataverse Web API / OData endpoints

- Handle event-driven logic using pre/post operation plugins

- Work with early-bound and late-bound programming models

2. Dynamics 365 / Dataverse Fundamentals & Customization:

- Configure and customize entities, forms, views, dashboards, business rules

- Design and manage security roles, business units, and field-level security

- Implement business process flows and workflows

- Understand and apply Dataverse data modeling and relationships

3. Dataverse Configuration & ALM:

- Manage solutions (managed/unmanaged), solution layering, and dependencies

- Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using: 1. CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar) 2. Source control using Git

- Handle environment strategy (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod)

- Automate deployments and solution packaging

4. Application Development (.NET / C#):

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core

- Build and consume RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Web API)

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles

- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and application optimization

5. Azure Integration:

- Develop Azure Functions for serverless processing

- Implement messaging patterns using: 1. Azure Service Bus (Queues, Topics, Subscriptions)

6. Power Platform:

- Develop and customize Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven apps)

- Automate business processes using Power Automate (Flows)

- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dataverse and external systems

7. AI & Developer Productivity:

- Leverage GitHub Copilot and Generative AI tools to improve development efficiency

- Apply AI-assisted coding, documentation, and testing practices where appropriate

8. Communication & Collaboration:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

- Document technical designs, solutions, and processes clearly
