Role Overview :
As a Sr. DFT Engineer at Tech Grow Global, you will be responsible for the complete DFT flow, from architecture definition to pattern generation and validation. You will collaborate closely with RTL designers, verification engineers, and physical design teams to ensure the testability and manufacturability of complex SoCs. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and reliability of our client's products, ensuring their success in the competitive semiconductor market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and implement DFT architectures for complex SoCs, ensuring high test coverage and minimal impact on performance.
- Perform Scan Insertion, ATPG, and MBIST implementation, validation, and debug to guarantee robust testing capabilities.
- Develop and maintain DFT-related scripts and flows to automate and improve the efficiency of the DFT process.
- Collaborate with RTL designers to incorporate DFT requirements early in the design cycle, minimizing late-stage changes.
- Work with verification teams to validate DFT logic and patterns, ensuring correct functionality and coverage.
- Support silicon bring-up and debug efforts, providing expertise in DFT-related issues to resolve manufacturing defects.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on DFT methodologies and best practices to foster team growth.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in DFT methodologies, including Scan Insertion, ATPG, and MBIST.
- Proficient in using industry-standard DFT tools from vendors like Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics.
- Strong understanding of RTL design principles and experience with System Verilog.
- Ability to write and debug complex scripts using languages like Perl or Python.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
