Senior DevOps Engineer - Site Reliability

Roles And Responsibilities :

- Strengthen our application and environment security, applying standards and best practices and providing tooling to make development workflows more secure.

- Create, maintain, and iterate on our CI/CD processes for new and existing services.

- Increase the sophistication of our alerting and escalation mechanisms.

- Help increase system performance with a focus on high availability and scalability.

- Propose, scope, design, and implement various infrastructure architectures.

- Work collaboratively with multiple agile teams to help deliver end-to-end products and features, seeing them through from conception to delivery.

- Help define, document, and evolve high engineering standards and best practices across multiple areas.

Key Requirements :

- Expertise in AWS cloud administration, including services such as ALB, ELB, Aurora, CloudWatch, VPC, IAM and Security Groups.

- Experience working with Terraform and IaC best practices.

- Strong experience with CI/CD tooling, including GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD, as well as automation scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)

- Experience with any monitoring tools, such as Datadog, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.

- Strong understanding of VPCs, NATs, Firewalls and Peering.

- Experience working on high-traffic, international systems.

Special Requirements :

- Functional knowledge in the Finance domain will be an added advantage.

- Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Ability to work and communicate clearly and efficiently with team members, with a strong command of English, both written and spoken.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving benchmarks.
