We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable hybrid infrastructure spanning on-premise and AWS environments. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in cloud architecture, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and production support. You will play a key role in improving platform reliability, deployment efficiency, and operational excellence while collaborating closely with development, QA, and operations teams.
- Architect, design, and maintain hybrid infrastructure solutions combining on-premise data centers with AWS cloud services.
- Build, enhance, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple applications and environments.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure repeatable, scalable, and auditable infrastructure provisioning.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python and Ansible to streamline operations, configuration management, and deployments.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Kubernetes (self-managed clusters and Amazon EKS).
- Manage and optimize application runtime environments using Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, and
HAProxy.
- Support and administer data and messaging platforms, including Kafka, Redshift, Databricks, and ECS-based services.
- Lead and participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews, ensuring proper documentation and preventive actions.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, performance, security,
and cost efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including VPC, ALB, EC2, ECS, Redshift, and Databricks.
- In-depth experience managing Kubernetes platforms, both self-managed clusters and Amazon EKS.
- Mandatory expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines, including Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
- Strong automation skills using Python and Ansible for configuration management and
operational tasks.
- Hands-on experience with web and application servers such as Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, and HAProxy.
- Experience managing Kafka clusters, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, specifically Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and security best practices.
- Proven experience in incident response, troubleshooting, and production support in high-availability environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
