Senior DevOps Engineer - IAC Terraform

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

- Build Automation : Design and implement automation for build, test, and deployment processes to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.

- CI/CD Pipeline Manager : Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software releases.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Specialist : Uses tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure programmatically.

- Monitoring and Logging Expert : Implements monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging systems to ensure system health and performance visibility.

- Security Integrator : Embeds security practices into the DevOps workflow (DevSecOps), ensuring compliance and protection against vulnerabilities.

- Cloud Platform Support : Support cloud resources (AWS) for LOS / LMS applications, optimizing cost, scalability, and performance.

- Collaboration Facilitator : Acts as a liaison between development, QA, and operations teams to foster communication and streamline workflows.

- Performance Management : Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively and ensure high availability and scalability of applications and infrastructure.

- Process Documentation : Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies to continuously improve DevOps practices.

- Incident Management : Responds to outages and drive the troubleshooting

- Mentorship : Guide the junior devops engineers and act as the main bridge across development, operations and management team.

- Security : Implement secrets management, IAM policies, basic compliance checks etc., by working closely with InfoSec team.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related field.

- 6- 8 years of experience in DevOps stack.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ksh etc.)

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)

- Source Code Repository (Bitbucket, Github)

- Secrets Manager (Hashivault)

- Understanding of networking, system administration, and security
