Senior DevOps Engineer I - AWS/Azure/GCP

Description :

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 46 years of hands-on experience in building, managing, and scaling reliable infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and production-grade systems in a product-based or fast-growing startup environment.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure

- Own end-to-end infrastructure across non-prod and prod environments

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable deployments

- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / GCP / Azure

- Handle production incidents, root cause analysis, and system optimization

- Automate infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform / CloudFormation)

- Monitor system performance, availability, and cost optimization

- Work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment and reliability

- Ensure best practices around security, backup, and disaster recovery

- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide technical guidance

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 4 to 6 years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Cloud Engineering

- Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)

- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

- Experience managing high-traffic production environments

- Hands-on experience with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch)

- Good understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Load Balancers, DNS)

- Scripting experience in Shell / Python

Good to Have :

- Experience with database migration and scaling

- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance

- Experience in product-based or scalable startup environments

- Prior experience in leading or mentoring a small team
