Senior DevOps Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and optimize container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.

- Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration.

- Write and maintain scripts to automate tasks using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.

- Implement and enforce DevSecOps best practices to ensure security at every stage of the development lifecycle.

- Monitor infrastructure and application health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack; perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues.

- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams in an Agile environment.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and cross-functional teams.

- Ensure compliance with security standards including ISO 27001.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to infrastructure and processes.

- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents promptly.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven track record managing DevOps in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS ECS and Office 365.

- Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Bash.

- Deep understanding of network protocols, security principles, and cloud-native security best practices.

- Experience implementing DevSecOps methodologies.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent leadership and communication abilities.

- AWS certification(s) is a strong plus.

- Good knowledge of ISO 27001 protocols and compliance requirements.
