Job Description :

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with 34 years of hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and scaling modern web applications.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with both Django or FastAPI backends and React-based frontends, and is highly proficient in containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure for Django/FastAPI backend services and React frontends.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring, adopting GitOps best practices for infrastructure and application delivery.

- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments using Kubernetes and Helm.

- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of microservices and APIs.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliability, availability, and security of services.

- Optimize deployment workflows for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's in computer science/engineering or equivalent.

- 34 years of DevOps experience, preferably supporting web application teams.

- Proven expertise deploying and scaling Django or FastAPI backend services and React frontends.

- Proficient in containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (k8s).

- Experience deploying and managing applications with Helm.

- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and best practices.

- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

- Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows and tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).

- Familiarity with Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools and container security scanning solutions (e.g., Trivy, Aqua, Snyk).

- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Understanding of networking, security best practices, and automation scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with additional IaC tools or service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio) or API Gateways.

- Exposure to serverless frameworks or edge computing.

- Previous experience working in agile or cross-functional teams/startups.
