Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Role Overview :

- Lead the evolution and optimization of the CI/CD ecosystem, including scalable Jenkins-as-Code implementations and developer efficiency improvements.

- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, including migration of cloud resources, alarms, and configurations into fully version-controlled infrastructure.

- Design and manage highly available Kubernetes (EKS) environments at scale.

- Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks related to CPU, memory, networking, storage, and application performance.

- Define and implement best practices for monitoring, alerting, observability, and incident management to improve system reliability and reduce MTTR.

- Lead initiatives around cloud cost optimization, security hardening, compliance, and infrastructure capacity planning.

- Build and maintain scalable deployment pipelines supporting zero or low-downtime releases.

- Implement and enhance SRE practices including SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.

- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to improving overall DevOps maturity across

teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

Mandatory Experience :

- Experience working in scaled B2B SaaS product companies.

- Strong exposure to multi-tenant architectures or multiple production environments.

- Proven experience handling large-scale infrastructure with clear exposure to uptime,

scalability, latency, and high-traffic systems.

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Strong expertise in AWS services including VPC, EKS, EC2, RDS, networking, and security.

- Deep understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region infrastructure

design.

- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS) at scale.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code :

- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (must-have).

- Experience with Helm, GitOps workflows, and Kubernetes automation.

- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Go, or Bash.

CI/CD & Release Engineering :

- Expertise in building and scaling CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.

Reliability Engineering & Observability :

- Strong understanding of SRE principles including SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.

- Hands-on exposure to alerting systems, incident response, on-call processes, and production support.

Education :

- B.Tech in Computer Science or related engineering fields.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Candidates from strong B2B SaaS product companies with scaled infrastructure environments will be preferred.

- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive infrastructure initiatives.

- Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration, and mentoring capabilities.
