Job Overview :

We are hiring a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer for a long-term contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Python, and will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud-native infrastructure.

This is a critical role focused on delivery, stability, and long-term ownership, requiring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS following best practices for scalability, security, and cost optimization.

- Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.

- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Set up and manage GitOps-based deployments using ArgoCD.

- Automate operational tasks, workflows, and CI/CD processes using Python scripting.

- Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, deployment, and release processes.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.

- Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards.

- Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive improvements.

- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and runbooks.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering (mandatory).

- Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.).

- Extensive experience with Kubernetes in production environments.

- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

- Proven experience using ArgoCD for continuous delivery and GitOps workflows.

- Strong scripting experience with Python for automation and tooling.

- Experience working in Linux-based environments.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
