Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure production-grade, repeatable environments.

- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, applying best practices in branching

strategies, pull request reviews, and release automation.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Linux shell scripting, Python, or Bash to streamline deployment and operational workflows.

- Manage containerization with Docker, and orchestrate container workloads using ECS or EKS.

- Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or OpenTelemetry, and implement alerts and dashboards as needed.

- Implement and advocate DevSecOps best practices, including security automation, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management.

- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments across multiple environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudWatch.

- Proven expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and maintaining production-grade infrastructure.

- Proficiency in GitHub workflows, branching strategies, pull request reviews, and CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions.

- Strong scripting skills with Linux shell scripting, Python, or Bash for automation tasks.

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, and basic orchestration experience with ECS or EKS.

- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or OpenTelemetry.

- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles, including security automation and secrets management.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of additional IaC tools such as Ansible or CloudFormation.

- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
