Role Overview :

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our software products. Your expertise will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and security of our platforms, ultimately contributing to the success of our clients and the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments, ensuring faster release cycles and improved software quality.

- Manage and maintain our Kubernetes infrastructure, optimizing resource utilization and ensuring high availability for our applications, leading to reduced operational costs and improved uptime.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible, enabling consistent and repeatable deployments across different environments, minimizing manual errors and improving efficiency.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences, ensuring optimal system performance and stability.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring the security of our applications and data, mitigating potential risks and vulnerabilities.

- Automate routine tasks and processes, reducing manual effort and improving overall operational efficiency, freeing up resources for more strategic initiatives.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation and knowledge base articles, enabling knowledge sharing and improving team efficiency.

Required Skillset : 8 -12 years of experience in DevOps with Python

Qualification : BE / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic track record

Key Technical Skills :

- CI/CD (XLDeploy, SONAR, MS Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, GIT/Git-hub, Nexus, Jira)

- Experience in Unix administration.

- Good knowledge on Security (firewall/SSL/encryption key management)

- Good knowledge on Infrastructure, server, VM, Cloud.

- Basic knowledge of Java / Big-data

- Basic awareness of Network communications.

- Basic knowledge on ELK stack.

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Proven ability to manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments, including experience with containerization technologies like Docker.

- Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and infrastructure management tasks.

- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and networking principles.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Adaptable to working in an on-site environment in Bangalore.
