Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has advanced expertise in cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.

This individual will play a critical role in shaping our cloud operations strategy, enabling developer productivity, and ensuring reliability across production systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Develop cloud architecture blueprints, reference models, and best practices for multi-account/multi-region setups.

- Implement cloud networking, IAM, VPC design, monitoring, and security controls.

- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD.

- Automate software build, test, and deployment pipelines to streamline release cycles.

- Implement automated quality gates, code scanning, and testing workflows.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Ansible.

- Build modular and reusable IaC components to standardize cloud deployments.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to infrastructure coding standards.

- Architect and manage Kubernetes environments (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed clusters).

- Optimize cluster design, scaling, monitoring, and resource allocation.

- Implement service mesh solutions (Istio/Linkerd) and container security best practices.

- Configure and optimize observability stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic.

- Implement SLOs/SLIs, alerting thresholds, and proactive monitoring strategies.

- Lead incident response, postmortems, and reliability improvements.

- Implement cloud security best practices, including encryption, IAM policies, network segmentation, and secret management.

- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).

- Ensure compliance with standards such as SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, or industry-specific regulations.

- Automate manual operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce human error.

- Implement system reliability engineering (SRE) principles to enhance uptime and performance.

- Lead disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and multi-region architectures.

- Work closely with development, architecture, and security teams to ensure alignment on cloud strategies.

- Provide technical mentorship to junior DevOps engineers.

- Participate in roadmap planning, design reviews, and architecture discussions.

- Drive adoption of best practices across the engineering organization.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 6-10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles.

- Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Proficient in IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go).

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
