Role Overview :

Role : DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

- Cloud Infrastructure Management : Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, cost-efficient, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Utilize cloud services like ECS, S3, EC2, and RDS to optimize performance.

- CI/CD Pipeline Development : Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI to automate deployment and ensure smooth integration.

- Automation & Scripting : Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python or Bash to streamline infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.

- Monitoring & Reliability : Set up and manage monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana to proactively track system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.

- Security Best Practices : Implement and enforce security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management, to safeguard cloud infrastructure.

- Collaboration & Support : Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps methodologies and troubleshoot application deployment issues.

- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with emerging technologies, evaluate new tools, and advocate for best practices to enhance DevOps efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience : Minimum 5 years in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role, with experience in startup or fast-paced environments preferred.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes for containerization.

- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.

- Hands-on experience with Ansible or Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).

- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving ability, proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Note : This is an unpaid opportunity for the first 3 months. After that, based on performance and funding, it will convert to a paid role with competitive salary + ESOPs.
