Senior DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Role/Title : Senior DevOps Engineer

Experience Range : 3 to 5 years

Location : Bangalore

Job Overview :

You will work closely with development, QA, Infrastructure and security teams to streamline workflows, improve system reliability, and enforce best practices across our software delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration on Linux-based systems.

- Administer and optimize artifact repositories (Nexus) and code quality platforms (SonarQube).

- Oversee containerization workflows with Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.

- Integrate and manage application security tools, including Fortify SAST and DAST, within the CI/CD pipeline.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable software releases.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures for high availability.

- Maintain documentation and enforce DevOps best practices.

- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to DevOps processes, tools, and security posture.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration.

- Proficient in building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.

- Deep knowledge of Maven and Java build processes.

- Experience administering SonarQube and Nexus Repository Manager.

- Practical experience integrating and managing SAST and DAST tools.

- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar) for automation.

- Strong understanding of templatizing DevOps pipelines.

- Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps, including secure code analysis and automated compliance checks.

- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.

- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
