About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, secure, and scale our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency. You will work closely with engineering teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage microservices, and implement robust cloud solutions on AWS and GCP.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud & Infrastructure Management :

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS) and GCP (Firebase, RTDB).

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible.

- Configure and secure VPC, VPN, NAT, and networking for hybrid cloud environments.

DevOps & CI/CD Automation :

- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) for rapid, safe deployments.

- Manage 20+ microservices in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SoA).

- Automate provisioning, monitoring, and recovery using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

Security & Compliance :

- Enforce cloud and application security best practices (RBAC, PodSecurityPolicy, Trivy, Kube-bench).

- Implement DevSecOps practices for vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance.

- Ensure disaster recovery and backup strategies for high availability.

Monitoring & Performance :

- Set up monitoring/alerting (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, New Relic, or similar).

- Optimize cost and performance of cloud resources (AWS Cost Explorer, S3 lifecycle policies).

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Mentor junior engineers on infrastructure design and DevOps best practices.

- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot build/deployment issues.

Skills & Qualifications :

Must-Have :

- 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience in cloud-native environments.

- Expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, EKS, RDS) and GCP (Firebase, RTDB).

- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, ArgoCD).

- Strong knowledge of networking (VPC, VPN, NAT) and cloud security.

- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis.

- Scripting skills in Python or Golang (Bash acceptable).

Nice-to-Have :

- Familiarity with React/Next.js infrastructure needs.

- Certifications : AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or CISSP.
