Position : Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment across Kubernetes and hybrid environments.

- Build and manage infrastructure automation pipelines using Chef, Terraform, and Ansible.

- Automate provisioning of Rancher and Kubernetes clusters across on-prem and cloud environments.

- Implement disaster recovery (DR) automation strategies, including data replication between on-prem and cloud environments.

- Deploy and manage shared infrastructure services (S3/Object Storage, Kafka, PostgreSQL/EDB, Redis, DNS, Artifactory, Jenkins, Vault, Splunk).

- Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters (RKE2, Helm, Calico CNI, CSI plug-ins, Backup solutions).

- Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to integrate observability tools (Prometheus, LogicMonitor, Splunk, SignalFX).

- Drive cloud infrastructure modernization, virtualization, and datacenter failover solutions.

- Continuously enhance DevOps practices, focusing on automation, scalability, and reliability.

Must-Have Skills :


- Expert-level Chef experience (cookbooks, recipes, test-driven infrastructure, CI/CD integration).

- Proven expertise in CI/CD toolchains : Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Harness, SonarQube.

- Strong hands-on with Kubernetes (Rancher, Helm, RKE2 clusters).

- Infrastructure as Code : Terraform Enterprise, Ansible, and Chef.

- Experience managing hybrid cloud & on-prem infrastructures.

- S3/object storage setup & replication (AWS S3, Cloudian, or equivalent).

- Experience with Kafka replication between on-prem and cloud.

- Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent).

- Monitoring/Logging : Splunk, LogicMonitor, Prometheus.

Good to Have :


- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for streaming applications (Apache Flink, Spark).

- Experience with VMware environments for hybrid datacenter operations.

- Exposure to multi-cloud operations (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kinesis)
