Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure Kubernetes Service

Key Responsibilities :

- Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure and services in Microsoft Azure.

- Work extensively with Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Front Door for application hosting and global traffic management.

- Configure and manage Apache and Nginx web servers for hosting PHP-based applications in production environments.

- Implement and manage Azure security services such as Azure Key Vault, Azure Firewall, NSG, WAF, and Defender for Cloud.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of applications running in Azure.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

- Support security audits and contribute to achieving compliance with ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS standards.

- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Experience :

Strong experience in :

- Azure App Service

- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

- Azure Front Door

- Azure networking and security tools

- Hands-on with Apache/Nginx web servers and managing PHP-based applications.

- Experience working in security-focused environments with knowledge of ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS compliance.

- Proficiency in shell scripting, infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., ARM/Bicep/Terraform), and CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

- Understanding of monitoring/logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with container security and DevSecOps practices.

- Knowledge of backup, DR, and cost optimization in Azure.
