About the Role :

Were looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who can drive infrastructure automation, deployment reliability, and engineering velocity for large-scale AWS-hosted platforms. In this hands-on role, youll work closely with engineering teams to build secure and scalable environments, manage container orchestration, implement GitOps, and streamline CI/CD workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CLI.

- Manage containerized workloads on EKS / Kubernetes, including Helm charts, ingress, autoscaling, and troubleshooting.

- Build and manage GitOps pipelines with tools like Argo CD or equivalent.

- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira).

- Automate processes through scripting (Bash / Python) and Infrastructure as Code.

- Set up monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability.

- Contribute to incident management, RCA documentation, and operational excellence.

Must-Have Technical Skills :

Skill Required Expertise :

- AWS Cloud Infrastructure Provision and manage core AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECR), IAM roles, security groups, and cost dashboards.

- Containerization (EKS / Kubernetes) Deploy and manage containerized services, Helm charts, ingress controllers, autoscaling, and network policies.

- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Ansible / AWS SAM) Build modular Terraform code, automate provisioning, and deploy serverless workloads.

- GitOps (Argo CD / Equivalent) Create GitOps pipelines with sync policies, rollback strategies, and RBAC.

- CI/CD (Bitbucket / Jenkins / Jira) Develop pipelines covering build, test, scan, and deploy with traceability.

- Scripting (Bash / Python) Write automation scripts for system operations and validations.

- Linux OS Strong hands-on in Ubuntu/CentOS management, NGINX/Apache configuration, SSL, and performance tuning.

- Datastores Work with MySQL / PostgreSQL / Redis for integrations, backups, and performance tuning.

- Backup & DR Familiarity with Veeam / Commvault for scheduling and DR drills.

- Monitoring & Alerting Configure metrics, dashboards, and actionable alerts using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or equivalent.

- Incident Management & RCA On-call participation, incident handling, and root cause analysis.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

Skill Preferred Expertise :

- Kustomize / FluxCD Exposure to declarative GitOps strategies.

- Kafka Familiarity with event-streaming architecture and basic integration.

- Datadog (or equivalent) Experience with monitoring and alerting dashboards.

- Chaos Engineering Participation in resilience testing or chaos simulations.

- DevSecOps & Compliance Integration of security scans and secrets management in pipelines.

- Build Tools (Maven / Gradle / NPM) Integration with CI systems and artifact management.

- Certifications AWS DevOps Engineer / Developer Associate / Terraform Associate preferred.
