Role : Senior DevOps Engineer.
Location : Bangalore.
Work Mode : Onsite 5D (No Remote/ Hybrid).
Duration : Full-Time.
Timings : 1-10 PM.
Experience : 4+ yrs.
Skills to crack : Teamcity; Docker; ECS; AWS; Terraform; CloudWatch.
Role Summary :
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support, optimize, and scale infrastructure and deployment workflows for containerized applications running in AWS.
This role focuses on the build, release, monitoring, and automation of Docker-based systems in a cloud-native environment.
You will work closely with developers and architects to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing deployments in production and development environments.
Core Tech Stack :
Containers & Orchestration : Docker, ECS, EKS.
Cloud Platform : AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, Terraform).
CI/CD & Automation : TeamCity, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins.
Monitoring & Logging : CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
Languages & Tools : JavaScript, Bash, Python, Go.
Qualifications :
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
- Proven knowledge of AWS core services, infrastructure design, and best practices.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools : Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and high-availability patterns in AWS.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues quickly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
Containerization & Orchestration :
- Build and maintain Docker images and containers for application services.
- Manage container lifecycle in AWS-hosted environments (ECS, EKS).
Cloud Infrastructure :
- Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Ensure scalability, resilience, and cost-efficiency of cloud deployments.
CI/CD Pipelines :
- Develop and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Automate build, test, and release processes using TeamCity, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline.
Monitoring & Logging :
- Implement and maintain observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK.
- Create dashboards and alerts to ensure proactive system health management.
Security & Compliance :
- Apply security best practices in container and cloud environments (IAM, VPCs, encryption, scanning).
- Ensure compliance with internal security and change management policies.
Collaboration & Support :
- Support engineering teams with infrastructure needs, deployment issues, and environment configuration.
- Participate in incident response and postmortems to ensure continuous improvement.
Bonus Experience :
- Working knowledge of Redpanda.
- Exposure to Starburst.
- Experience supporting JavaScript-based applications or build systems in a DevOps context.
