Job Summary :

We are seeking an energetic and skilled DevOps Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner and a self-starter with a passion for working in a dynamic startup environment.

You will be a key player in managing our cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a primary focus on building, implementing, and managing operational support.

This role requires a strong technical background in automation, containerization, and monitoring to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cloud Infrastructure Management : Operate and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS.

- Automation and Scripting : Design, develop, and troubleshoot automation scripts using languages like Python or Shell for managing infrastructure as code.

- Operational Support : Build, implement, and manage robust operational support systems, focusing on continuous improvement and efficiency.

- Monitoring and Performance : Handle load monitoring, capacity planning, and service monitoring to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

- CICD and Deployment : Utilize your proven experience with CICD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process and manage database upgrade-related issues.

- Containerization : Work with containerized environments, including Kubernetes, and manage various datastores like Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Experience :

- 5-8 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.

Technical Proficiency :

- Proven experience with public clouds, specifically AWS.

- Expertise in one or more scripting languages such as Python or Shell.

- Hands-on experience with Nginx/HAProxy, ELK Stack, Ansible, Terraform, and the Prometheus-Grafana stack.

- Good understanding and experience with Kubernetes and datastores like Cassandra, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.

Professional Attributes :

- An energetic self-starter with a desire to work in a startup environment.

- Proven experience with CICD pipelines and managing database upgrades.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with specific AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.

- Knowledge of other infrastructure as code tools.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
