Senior DevOps/Cloud Consultant

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps / Cloud Consultant with a minimum of 7-8 years of hands-on expertise in cloud migrations, architecture planning, infrastructure automation, and multi-platform cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP), along with a proven track record of leading DevOps teams, implementing secure frameworks, and managing complex auto-scaling environments.

This role requires excellent technical, leadership, and communication skills, along with strong consulting experience with international clients (UK, US, AU). Cloud solution architect certifications and experience in Office 365/business environments are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Lead and deliver cloud migration projects across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.

- Build and manage auto-scaling, load balancing, and container orchestration solutions.

- Provide cloud consultancy across multiple platforms, helping clients choose the best-fit cloud solutions.

- Implement cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance.

DevOps & Automation :

- Lead a team of 5- 6 DevOps engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using industry-leading tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).

- Configure and manage automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.

- Manage and optimize Docker and Kubernetes-based deployments.

- Monitor and manage production and pre-production infrastructures ensuring high availability.

System Administration & Tools :

- Strong experience with Linux and Windows server administration.

- Manage cloud-native monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).

- Handle secure frameworks and security hardening across cloud and DevOps environments.

- Manage Office 365 deployments, configurations, and integrations where applicable.

Team & Client Management :

- Work closely with international clients (UK, US, AU) and lead technical discussions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and project management.

- Prepare architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and migration plans.

- Ensure timely delivery of complex projects in mission-critical environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of relevant DevOps and cloud engineering experience.

- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP environments with hands-on multi-cloud experience.

- Experience leading DevOps teams (5- 6 members minimum).

- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Containers, Helm, and microservices deployment.

- Strong command over automation tools : Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Azure ARM/Bicep.

- Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls.

- Experience in managing auto-scaling, HA, DR, and fault-tolerant architectures.

- Knowledge of secure frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices.

- Excellent communication and client-handling skills with experience working with UK/US/AU clients.

- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automation strategies.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.

- Experience with Office 365 and business application integrations is a plus.

Preferred Certifications :

- AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional

- Azure Solutions Architect Expert

- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect

- DevOps-related certifications (CKA, CKAD, Terraform, etc.) are an advantage.
