Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Zuora Senior Developer with 7-10 years of experience to design, develop, integrate, and support Zuora-based billing solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Zuora Billing, Product Catalog, subscription lifecycle management, integrations, Zuora APIs, workflows, and billing operations, along with the ability to independently manage technical delivery and guide junior developers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work closely with Business Operations, Finance, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Zuora solutions.

- Design, configure, develop, test, and deploy Zuora solutions and enhancements.

- Design and optimize Zuora billing workflows, subscription processes, product configurations, and business rules.

- Manage the complete subscription lifecycle, including creation, amendments, renewals, cancellations, and updates.

- Configure and maintain Product Catalog, Charge Models, Orders, Billing, Payments, and Invoice processes.

- Develop and maintain Zuora Invoice Templates, Credit Memo templates, HTML templates, and billing documents.

- Implement and enhance Zuora Workflow automations to streamline billing and operational processes.

- Develop and support integrations between Zuora and external systems such as Salesforce, e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, tax systems, and data/analytics platforms.

- Work with Zuora APIs and developer tools to support integrations, automation, and data operations.

- Perform bulk data operations, including mass create, update, and delete activities across Zuora objects.

- Support month-end billing, reconciliation, billing document posting, and other finance-related processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Zuora configurations, integrations, data flows, and billing processes.

- Identify and implement performance and process improvements across the Zuora platform.

- Support DevOps teams with deployment automation and production releases.

- Conduct code/configuration reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, test plans, and operational guides.

- Coordinate a small development team, track deliverables, and ensure timely project execution.

- Provide technical support and guidance to business and technical stakeholders.

- Stay current with Zuora product releases, platform capabilities, and industry best practices.

Required Skills :

- 7 to 10 years of experience in Zuora development and implementation, preferably with strong exposure to billing platforms.

- Strong hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora Administration.

- Good understanding of Zuora objects, data model, configurations, and APIs.

- Strong experience with Zuora Product Catalog and Charge Models.

- Hands-on experience with Zuora Orders and Order Line Items.

- Strong understanding of subscription lifecycle management.

- Expert-level experience in Zuora Invoice Templates, Credit Memo templates, HTML templates, and billing documents.

- Strong experience with Bill Runs, Payments, billing document posting, invoicing, and month-end reconciliation.

- Hands-on experience with Zuora Workflow for automation and process enhancement.

- Experience integrating Zuora with Salesforce, payment gateways, e-commerce platforms, tax systems, and data/analytics platforms.

- Strong knowledge of Zuora REST APIs and tools such as Postman.

- Experience performing bulk data operations across multiple Zuora objects.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across configurations, integrations, and data flows.

- Experience with deployment processes and working with DevOps/CI-CD teams.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
