Job Title : Senior ODI & Database Developer

Location : Bangalore(Hybrid)

Mandatory Skills :

- Should have good querying skills on MSSQL & Oracle & Postgres databases with ability to understand & debug PL/SQL procedures.

- SQL proficiency with experience in constructing/deconstructing complex reports and queries.

- Experience in modifying PowerShell scripts.

- Experience in performance tuning of mappings, error handling, testing, debugging, troubleshooting skills and migration of objects.

- Experience in managing Files, MSSQL DB, XML's through ODI.

- Experience in developing Load Plans, Scheduling Jobs.

- Experience in integrating ODI with multiple Source / Target.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Skilled problem-solver and detail oriented.

- Requires ability to work on assigned tasks independently with limited direction.

- Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with minimal oversight.

- Must be a team player and work well in a deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities.

- Data modeling experience using dimensional data modeling, star/snowflake schema, fact and dimension tables, physical and logical data modeling.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) across multiple data sources and targets.

- Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and scripts on MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.

- Modify and enhance PowerShell scripts to automate data processing and job scheduling tasks.

- Perform performance tuning of ODI mappings, including error handling, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

- Manage and process files, XMLs, and database objects efficiently using ODI.

- Develop and maintain Load Plans, scheduling jobs to meet business requirements and timelines.

- Integrate ODI with various source and target systems for seamless data movement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high data quality and integrity.

- Apply data modeling principles including dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schema, and design of fact and dimension tables.

- Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
