We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL, along with a strong background in modern data warehousing practices, schema design, and performance tuning. You will play a key role in optimizing database structures and supporting analytics initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable database schemas, migration scripts, and indexing strategies for large datasets.

- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to support modern data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and reporting frameworks.

- Optimize query performance and troubleshoot complex database issues to ensure high availability, data integrity, and efficient execution.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth database integration and data flow across environments.

- Implement and maintain best practices for database security, backup, and disaster recovery.

Required Experience & Skills :

- Proven experience as a Database Developer, with hands-on expertise in Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL.

- Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and schema design.

- Experience working with ETL processes, data migration, and analytics workloads.

- Proficiency in creating and maintaining migration scripts and indexing strategies.

- Good understanding of data modeling, data governance, and warehouse architecture.

- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
