SG IT is looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator to play a key role in designing, managing, and supporting enterprise-scale SQL Server and Oracle database environments.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about high availability, performance tuning, and mission-critical database systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage day-to-day operations of SQL Server & Oracle databases supporting applications, interfaces, and integrations

- Perform DBA activities including installation, configuration, upgrades, data purges, and implementations

- Enhance and maintain the SQL Server environment for performance, reliability, and scalability

- Implement and enforce database best practices for availability, stability, and security

- Monitor database size, memory usage, and resource allocation

- Write and optimize custom SQL queries for analysis and reporting

- Design and manage backup, retention, and off-site recovery strategies

- Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and DR drills

- Support audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements

What We're Looking For :

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2005-2012) and Oracle DBA

- Expertise in Windows Server (2008 R2 / 2012 R2)

- Deep understanding of data modeling, BI stack, and database architecture

- Experience with Clustering, Mirroring, Log Shipping, and High Availability setups

- Proven skills in performance tuning, DR, and capacity planning

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualification & Certifications :

Required :

- 5+ years of SQL Server & Oracle DBA experience

- Hands-on experience with Windows & SQL Server clustering

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- Certifications: MCSE, MCDBA, Oracle (OCA/OCP/OCM)
