About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator (Oracle) to join our 24x7 database operations team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end database management, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and data integrity across mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform L3 database administration and support for Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c) across production and non-production environments.

- Configure and manage Oracle RAC for high availability and scalability.

- Implement and maintain Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and data protection.

- Manage Oracle ASM for optimal storage and performance.

- Design, configure, and monitor Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication and integration.

- Handle database upgrades, patching, and migrations.

- Continuously monitor and optimize database performance; troubleshoot issues proactively.

- Ensure robust security, backup, and recovery measures are implemented and tested.

- Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams for seamless application deployments.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 1015 years of proven hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.

- Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and GoldenGate.

- Proficiency in performance tuning, backup/recovery, and database security.

- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).

- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

- Oracle certifications (OCP, OCM) are an added advantage.
