Senior Data Visualization Enginer

Job Description :

Role & Responsibilities :

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst / Senior Visualization Engineer who can own a data domain end to end and translate complex data into clear, actionable stories for business stakeholders.

This role goes beyond building charts. The ideal candidate can understand leadership concerns, identify meaningful insights, and design dashboards that drive decisions. As visualization and chart creation become increasingly automated through AI, this role will focus heavily on analytical thinking, storytelling, and recommendation-driven insights.

Data Storytelling & Insights :

- Own one or more data domains (e.g., ATS, talent funnel, internal business metrics)

- Understand stakeholder goals and concerns and translate them into meaningful dashboards

- Identify insights, patterns, and anomalies that help leaders take action

- Recommend what to show and why, not just build what is requested

- Clearly articulate the story behind the data to internal stakeholders

Analytics & Dashboarding :

- Design and build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools

- Perform analysis and triaging when new requirements or questions arise

- Break down ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches

- Apply best practices in visualization, metric design, and interpretation

Collaboration :

- Work closely with business leaders, advisors, and internal teams

- Incorporate feedback and iteratively refine dashboards for clarity and impact

- Partner with technical and product stakeholders as needed

Preferred candidate profile

- 7+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or data visualization roles

- Strong data storytelling and problem-structuring skills

Hands-on experience with one or more BI tools such as:

1. Power BI

2. Tableau

3. Looker

4. Open-source tools like Superset (nice to have)

- Ability to convert business questions into insightful dashboards

- Good understanding of metrics, KPIs, and analytical best practices

- Comfortable presenting insights to non-technical audiences

Nice to Have :

- Experience working with ATS, HR analytics, or operational dashboards

- Exposure to AI-assisted analytics or using AI tools to speed up analysis

- SQL and basic data transformation experience

- Experience in B2B, B2C, or B2B2C environments (industry background is flexible)
