Senior Data Scientist - NLP/Generative AI

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong focus on Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join our growing team.

You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge AI/ML solutions, leveraging your expertise in generative models, NLP, and deep learning to solve complex business challenges.

This role requires a deep understanding of advanced statistical and machine learning techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with product development and leadership teams.

Experience in a startup environment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Data Acquisition & Automation : Identify relevant data sources and build automated data collection processes.

- Data Preprocessing : Preprocess structured and unstructured data to prepare it for model training and analysis.

- Model Development : Develop and innovate machine learning and deep learning algorithms, including generative AI models, NLP models, forecasting models, and network graphs.

- Model Building : Build predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and data pipelines for end-to-end solutions.

- Problem Solving : Propose data-driven solutions and strategies to address business challenges.

- Collaboration & Communication : Collaborate effectively with product development teams and communicate technical information clearly to senior leadership teams.

- Problem-Solving Sessions : Participate actively in problem-solving sessions, contributing your expertise and insights.

Required Technical Skills :

- Generative AI : Extensive background in generative AI algorithms and deep understanding of generative models.

- NLP : Deep understanding of NLP algorithms, techniques, and applications.

- Deep Learning : Strong knowledge of deep learning architectures and frameworks.

- Machine Learning : Solid foundation in machine learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.

- Statistical Modeling : Strong mathematical and statistical skills, including algebra and statistical modeling.

- Programming Languages : Fluency in at least one data science/analytics programming language (Python, R, Julia).

- Python is highly preferred.

- Data Pipeline Development : Experience building data pipelines for end-to-end solutions.

Preferred Skills :

- Cloud Computing : Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.

- Data Visualization : Experience with data visualization tools (i., Tableau, Power BI).

- Big Data Technologies : Knowledge of big data technologies (i., Spark, Hadoop).

Required Experience & Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, Operations Research, or equivalent experience).

Experience :

- 5-6years of advanced analytics experience, preferably in startups or marquee companies.

- Startup experience is a plus.
