About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Data Scientist to join our growing analytics and AI/ML team. This is a senior-level individual contributor (IC4) role that requires technical depth, domain expertise, and a passion for delivering data-driven solutions. You will work on challenging and meaningful problems in Healthcare, Finance, or Banking, collaborating across teams and mentoring junior members.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and extract insights from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data (numeric, imaging, textual).

- Build, optimize, and validate machine learning models (classification, regression, etc.).

- Apply advanced statistical modeling techniques to solve business problems.

- Develop data visualizations and present analytical findings to stakeholders.

- Work with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras to deploy robust models.

- Leverage cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure to implement scalable data science and ML solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Product, and Business to align solutions with strategic goals.

- Mentor and support junior team members in coding standards, modeling best practices, and domain understanding.

- Continuously research and integrate cutting-edge data science practices into the team's workflow.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science roles.

- 3+ years working with :

1. EDA and data visualization tools.

2. Classification and regression algorithms.

3. Statistical analysis and modeling.

- Strong programming skills in Python and good grasp of OOPs concepts.

- 2+ years of domain expertise in Healthcare, Finance, or Banking.

- 2+ years of practical experience with ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- 3+ years working with various data types : numeric, imaging, and textual.

- 1+ year of experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members.

Good to Have :

- Experience in MLOps and DevSecOps practices for automating and securing ML model lifecycle.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, or data versioning tools like DVC.

- Knowledge of model monitoring, drift detection, and explainability frameworks (e.g., SHAP, LIME).
