This role sits at the intersection of advanced analytics, production ML, and business impact delivery.

Orbion Infotech is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our Bangalore on-site team.

The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end analytics and ML projects - transforming data into production-grade models that deliver measurable outcomes.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Lead design, development and production deployment of predictive and prescriptive ML models end-to-end for business use-cases.

- Translate business problems into data-driven solutions : feature engineering, model selection, evaluation and A/B testing strategies.

- Build scalable data pipelines and collaborate with engineering teams to operationalize models (CI/CD, monitoring, retraining).

- Conduct model validation, performance tuning, bias analysis and implement robust model governance and observability.

- Mentor junior data scientists, drive best-practice playbooks for code quality, reproducibility and experiment tracking.

- Partner with product and stakeholder teams to prioritize ML initiatives and translate model outputs into actionable business KPIs.

Qualifications :

- 8+ years of professional experience in data science, applied machine learning or analytics with demonstrable production deployments.

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

- On-site presence in Bangalore (required).
