Job Title : Senior Data / ETL Test Engineer

Location : Bengaluru

Experience Required : 57 years

Employment Type : 6 Months Contract+ Extendable

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute test cases for ETL processes and data pipelines

- Perform source-to-target data validation, data quality checks, and reconciliation

- Automate data testing using Python scripts and frameworks

- Create and maintain test data and test environments

- Collaborate closely with data engineers, developers, and analysts to understand business and data requirements

- Identify and log defects, and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner

- Build reusable test automation tools and frameworks for data validation

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5 - 7 years of experience in ETL Testing / Data Testing

- Strong expertise in SQL for data validation and query writing

- Hands-on experience in test automation using Python

- Good understanding of ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, AWS Glue, etc.)

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling

- Experience with big data ecosystems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive) is a plus

- Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
